Hear ye, Hear ye!
http://theconcussionblog.com/2014/07/25/c4ct-concussion-awareness-summit-reconvenes-next-week/This is one of my sources, a blog about concussion awareness summit reconvenes next week. It is speaking about a whole week about concussion awareness. It is addressing the medical field as a whole, but specifically sports medicine.
"The #C4CT Concussion Awareness Summit is being convened on July 31, 2014 to explore the potential link between TBI and Alzheimer’s disease. A diverse working group of clinicians, medical researchers, policy makers, international diplomats, athletes, celebrities, and philanthropic organizations will be assembled to raise awareness, advance clinical research, and develop public policy in order to address this major unmet medical need and public health issue."
This week occurred January 29th, 2014
I chose to speak of it because this is the first time in a while concussions were discussed publicly. This being because of lawsuits toward the NFL and the NCAA, because of concussions leading to things as serious as depression, post-concussion syndrome and suicide.
This source is also providing me with a video, that gives me a total recap of the whole summit. The summit gives you the opinion on the subject from Neurologist and Ex-Athlete's with the experience.

Long story short the goal of the summit is to get everyone there on the same page, so they can speak and get the world on the same page of concussion awareness.
You can tell that this is a blog, because in comparison of a peer-reviewed article there is not research behind it.
