I like a little 90's R&B, then local rap and lastly a little bit of Carey Underwood.
Peer-Reviewed
This genre is one that is widely respected. Imagine that you were
an old man professor whom had just wrote an article about why candy is bad. In this article making a statement, providing scientifically proven evidence and then concluding your argument. That would not be the last step, you would have to pass it along to many people of your academic standing and get it revised. And once that is done you must edit it one again, correcting ALL ISSUES.
That is why I use my peer-reviewed articles to prove things. Points that I believe in are not just believed by me, but and additional 6+ people with Masters and Doctorate Degrees.
Videos
This is useful only when the person speaking is credible, such as a President or Professor. In my Annotated Bibliography I use a video of a BMX biker who experienced an additional disorder following his concussion. This being useful, because it provides me with a statement from someone who personally experienced it. You can't always meet people who know something personally about hat you are researching.
Blogs
Blog's are another instance in which you can gain the opinion of others on a particular subject. Another interesting element of blog's is the comments, they give you the ability to gain even more opinions on your topic.Newspaper
The newspaper has one side, the make a stance and although journalist add some of their opinion. Newspaper's are used as a credible source for information.
Although I am more than aware of all these genre's this is my first instance in which I quoted a blog or video. Past educators encouraged me to use things from websites that ended only in ".gov"or ".edu". Talking and typing that sounds funny. Looking into the sources you may use, think about the fact that we are so dependent on the internet for sources. Did we completely forget that books and real newspapers exist. I hope not.
